A short but loud, scream of pain echoed through the forest, he was very tired so it was hard for him to keep track of where he was going, so he had no idea that he would of flew into a tree, and the sharp branches were to rip the folds of skin that made up his blue wings. The branches soon riped away from the tree and stuck into his webbing, causing the pain to stay. He lowered himself to the forest floor, the sun was high and you could hear many birds chirping. His long slender form landed gracefully on the forest bed, even though he was still in pain. His horns on the top of his head were silvery and seemed bright each time the sun moved overhead, and beamed down on him. He moved his snout to the branch, snapping down to break it so it wouldn't get caught during his flight and tear his wing more. He could bear the pain, though he didn't enjoy feeling it, especially since he wasn't even over his past yet. It had been so many years since that day, but he still remembered it as if it had happened only yesterday...
He winced as a sharp breeze whipped pasted him, causing the wound to sting a little. His wing was torn and it hurt to flap it, though he knew it wasn't serious, a days rest and it would be as good as new. He snorted and lowered his form, letting himself lay peacefully on the ground, at least he didn't have to worry about dragon slayers, well at least he hoped he didn't need to worry about them.

Vixxy was walking through Hakori Forest. Once again she was bored and just browsing. She was listening to the wind whisper and feeling it hug her form. She let a rare smile grace her face feeling comfort.
Then for some reason the wind started to blow harshly, whipping her hair back and forth.
'What's going on? The wind was so calm a second ago...'
Vixxy ran to find the source.
What she found she wasn't sure how to react. So she took precaution.
She slowly stalked up to the dragon, her eyes full of distrust; but it wasn't like he could see them. Only slight glimpse when the wind blew her hair to the side for a couple of seconds, just to come back down. It gave the atmosphere around her an eerie feeling.
When she was 3 meters away from him she stopped. Her head was up looking straight at him and all the wind had died down to a gentle breeze.
"What happened to you?" She spoke softly yet her voice was devoid of all emotion.

The blue silvery dragon turned quickly, almost causing the tear in his wing to rip open. He curled back his think lips and let his ivories be seen by the new comer. He would of flapped his wings, causing the wind to blow her down but they hurt to much to be able to do that. He snorted and let a low, and rather calming voice ring out to the ears of the demon woman.
I flew into a tree, and got a branch stuck in my wings.....Why would you care anyways, demon?
He snarled at her and lowered his head, making himself eye level with her. He snorted in her face, sending a thick going fem onto her clothing. He lifted his head and made sure to watch the human looking creature carefully. He didn't trust anyone, not after what happened to his village. He winched in pain but didn't make any moves to try and pull out the thick branch that was hitch-hiking in the folds of his wings. He moved them very slowly, but stopped and stood perfectly still, cold blue orbs locked onto her form, not letting her make a movement he did not know about.

Vixxy watched the dragon move and look at her with distrust as well as attempt to scare her. It was nothing new to her, she was use to it and didn't flinch in the slightest. Vixxy just stood there, watching him, waiting for him to answer her question. She noticed the branch in his wings, it'd be easy for her to remove it... if she wanted. Alas Vixxy wouldn't do this because she wanted to see if he valued his pride more than his life. If the dragon wanted the branch removed he would ask, if not then he would have to find out how to remove it himself.
When the dragon answered her calmly she raised one of her thin white teal-blue tinted eyebrows at him, it was as if the branch hadn't bothered him at all. But Vixxy knew better, she knew it hurt, and he wanted it removed as soon as possible. She wasn't one to be fooled easily and it grated her nerves when one would attempt to lie to her, so she kept quiet.
Although when said dragon snorted in her face and sent fem on her clothes Vixxy used her ice powers and froze the fem, then shook it off. She noticed that he was watching her every move, as was she. But because of his bold move she decided to answer him.
'Why would I care...?'
"Normally I wouldn't care. The wind started acting up so I decided to see what the cause of it was. Now that i know I suppose I should leave you to your... 'minor problem'. By the way, the name 's Vixxy."
With that said, Vixxy jumped onto the nearest non-broken sturdy branch and watched the dragon.
'I said 'suppose'... never said I would.'
Vixxy watched the dragon awaiting what was coming calmly, with adrenalin starting to pump through her veins. She was getting excited with this new situation and hoped it would continue to get more interesting than it already was.
She smiled softly to herself. The wind blew gently again moving her bangs from her eyes allowing them to be visible and setting a beautiful image. Vixxy purred contently to herself as she let the adrenalin move through her beautiful, but deadly, body.
'Hopefully things will become better.'

Wing spread out and he turned around, after the demon went into a tree. His tail slashed the branch she was sitting on, breaking off the tip of it, causing a crack to run through the tree branch. He snorted again, not really caring about her words. He moved his mouth toward the branch in his wing and clamped his sharp teeth down on it, and soon began to pull. The blood continued to run down his wings, soon staining the ground below him a deep crimson. He winched at the pain but continued pulling the branch out. But soon it got caught, because of the limb that was sticking out of the branch. He stopped and put his head down, his eyes were watering, but wouldn't anyone's? He shook his head and sighed, this was no use, and he hated the fact that a demon was near him.
Demon, why are you still here?
His words were cold, but there was no sign of him being rude, or disrespectful, though you could tell just by the way he spoke that his past had something with demons and humans in it. He lowered his head to the ground, wishing that his elder was still by his side, helping him and protecting him. He snorted once again and rose his head, turning toward the branch in his wing and began to pull again, forgetting that there was a limb sticking out, causing him to rip the wing open slightly. He teared up once more and let go of the branch, it was no use, the only was to get this thing out was to have someone else take it out, but he wouldn't go to that level and ask for help. He shook his head and lowered his body, laying down on the soaked crimson ground.
He knew that he himself was a dragon demon, and knew that he could change into a human to take out the branch himself, but he would never change again, never. He was extremely young fro a demon, only being exactly 18 years old. He was five years when he last changed into a human, and when the demons ripped his brother's head off. He teared up, but this time because of his memory. He quickly turned around to face the she-demon, not wanting her to try anything funny.
Well demon? What is your business here?
His words were demanding, he didn't like to be around demons, he hated the company of all creatures.

The dragon's tail broke the tip of her branch as he was turning to keep his eyes on her.
'Don't let someone you don't know go unsurpervised... smart.'
Cracking of the branch she was crouching on reached Vixxy's ears not a second later. Her ears twitched at the sound as she jumped up to the branch above her head just in case the cracked branch couldn't hold her weight.
'Well now, that was rude and uncalled for if you as me... unless he doesn't have control of that tail of his.'
Vixxy watched as he attempted to pull the branch out of his wing. The crimson stained ground was calling her blood beast drink the metallic liquid flowing from the dragon's wound. But she wouldn't do so, she would wait until he asked if he wanted her help; plus her saliva would disinfect the wound. If he wanted it to heal perfectly he would ask for her assistance, all she had to do was freeze the branch, crack it into a million little pieces and move the little ice shards to the side.
When the branch got stuck because of the limb her eyes softened. She slightly pitied the poor dragon, one of the last of its kind. Well it would be a reason to distrust anyone or any species. Vixxy's nose was graced with the smell of salt, a sign that he was forming tears. She rolled her eyes; it wouldn't have happened if he asked for her help, but no, he had to do it his way.
'I'm here for a reason dragon. Take a hint would ya, and it's not to eat your flesh. Sheese, it's the same with all males.' she brooded to herself.
When he questioned her reason on being there she just twitched one of her tails toward the branch then twisted it with the rest of her tails. If he truly wanted her to answer he would call her by her proper name, unless he already forgot, like about the limb in the branch. She smelled the beginning of his tears again. Vixxy knew he valued his pride, but he also valued his life and was caught in the middle.
'Tick tock dragon, choose already. Life or pride.' She continued to brood to herself, even though she was beginning to lose her own patience she knew it was key.
She took notice of how he looked away from her, not that he didn't take her as a threat but as he was distracted with his own thoughts. Although not even five minutes later did he set his eyes back on her sleek form and the scent of tears reached her nose once more, as did the dragon's voice reach her ears again.
'He truly wants to know does he?', she pondered to herself. Although this time she responded to his request, even if it was more of a demand.
"First off, my name is Vixxy, not demon. So please do not classify me in with those pathetic excuses of beings and wastes of precious lives. As for my buisiness... it's more like curiosity and my temporary good will. If you want help with your problem all you have to do is ask. It's either that or your life. And don't think of it as a threat, tis only the truth. You need help, if you do not receive it soon you shall die from the loss of blood. So if you want to live all you have to do is ask and I will find it within my 'black heart' to assist you. I ask nothing in return.", she replied to his request coolly.
'He's lucky I'm in a helpful mood today or he would've died from hypothermia.'
With that said Vixxy fanned out her tails behind her and smiled a rare graceful smile full of warmth. It was to soothe the dragon's distress if he had any about her words. Lying was beneath her, she had no reason to lie, but the dragon didn't known that yet did he....
"Do not doubt my words dragon. Lying is beneath me. Besides I have no reason to lie.", she informed him, her smile gone as was any emotion that was on her face.
'Pick now dragon: life or death.', her thoughts kept to herself she licked her lips thoughtfully.

His wing had to be kept up and that was getting quite uncomfortable. He rose his head from it's resting spot, the crimson that he had laid on began to fall from his lower mug. He pushed himself up, not wanting to look like he was weak. He snorted and kept his eyes wearily on the demon in front of him. It was easy to see that he was in pain, and he wasn't about to go and ask for help. He snorted and turned his head back to the branch, again pulling on it trying to get it off. The only thing that he accomplished this time was almost splitting his wing in half, the blood rolled to the ground and even blood filled his mouth because of the extreme pain from this. He moved his head and coughed up the blood. Tears were rolling down his face. He again lowered himself, but this time it wasn't because he was upset that it was just no use, but because of his loss of blood and him becoming weaker. He let out a call. It may of seemed like a call of help, but really he was calling for his brother. He closed his eyes and opened them a few minutes later. He stood to his feet, but failed falling to the ground. He tried one more time but this time he was successful, he saw something off in the distance. However little did he know it was just his mind playing tricks on him.
Brother.....?
He lowered his head slightly before picking it up fully and starring the demon into the eyes. She was the one he could feel it. She was the one who killed his brother and the villagers so many years ago. Steam escaped his nostrils as he snorted, his horns were aimed for her his head was lowered, he seemed like he was going to charge at her just like an angry bull. He began to run at her, but he failed due to how much pain he was in, he wasn't that far away from her when his front legs buckled and then followed by his back until his body was once gain on the ground that soaked up his crimson fluids. He looked up at her and closed his eyes slightly, when they reopened his harsh words stung the cold air.
YOU! You killed him! You killed my BROTHER!
He got up again and stood before her, but the pain from his wing made him stay still, he wanted to kill her right there and if he had not been so full of himself he could of ended her life right then and there but he couldn't. He snorted the steam again flew out of his nostrils. He almost fell before her again but kept himself up with the strength he still had. If he understood his powers of the elements then he could of simply used that, but his elder had not taught him how to yet. The anger filled his heart, his cold heart, he wanted all the demons to die but yet wasn't he one that he hated most? He was a dragon demon but he did not know it. The worst fact of all, those shadows that killed his village and his brother were of his own creations from his demon powers. The shape that he thought was his brother entered his vision again, he tried to move closer to it, but the pain from the branch prevented him from doing so. He closed his eyes slightly before opening them and finally collapsing to the ground. His long neck was curled making it so his head was facing the strange shadow that only he could see. His green pools looked out and soon they closed as he went back in time, to his mind so he could see his brother once more. His tail was also curled, so that he seemed slightly smaller then he really was. He could remember their days playing, when he first hatched out of his egg to see all those creatures standing around him, when he first met the elder. His wings relaxed, the same with all of his other body mussels as he continued to think about his past.
Flashback:
When the old man paused he had chuckled to himself all the while holding out a bowl of water, which was used as a mirror, so Gort could get a good look at himself as a human. The young dragon demon moved closer to the bowl, looking down to see blue hair on top of a human head. He was only 5 years old and looked very small, his voice was so immature, so naive, so innocent. WHOA! What am I? The green eyes had turned to face his elder, his adoptive father. The old man smiled and answered his young dragon son back, with his old and crippled sounding voice. Why you are a- The door suddenly opened and a lone figure appeared at the door step. The figure told the elder that Kon was beginning to worry about Gort, so the elder sent Gort out to play with his dragon brother. When Gort came out of the hut he was in the form of a human, he did not know how to change but as soon as he saw his brother Kon he hugged him and told him everything, well at least the it was him, Gort. They soon began to play, but then a sharp scream made them turn to face the elders hut. He saw the shape of his elder on the hard ground, and then shadowy figures crept out of the hut, moving to others and slaughtering the villagers. Gort turned to Kon with a scarred face, and Kon quickly left charging at a shadowy figure. The shadow moved quickly, to quickly for Gort to see what happened but his brother Kon had been decapitated. Gort was filled with anger and sadness, the shadow creatures soon disappeared after he let out a cry for help. All of the villagers had been slaughtered except for himself. Somehow he managed to change back to his dragon form without even knowing how to. He ran off to the forest and left the village running away from those things that had slaughtered his family.[/ul] End Flashback:The tears rolled down his emerald pools as he began to remember how his family was killed; well not remember but think about. A saddened roar left his mug. The roar was pretty much like a mourn for his lost. His pools closed as he shook his head. What kind of demon was that? Those shadows didn't take one the form that stood before him, they were shadows of wolves. His pools opened, his emerald eyes were wet and puffy from the tears that still rolled down his cheeks. Had he caused those shadowy creatures to appear and kill his family? Perhaps if he never broken the elders most important rule, then they would still of been alive. His elder said that he was not allowed to go and tease any humans, or hunt their livestock. He and Kon had left to tease villagers from a different village and ended up killing a small lamb. However what Gort did not know was, that was not the reason those shadows came; it was his power. He was a dragon demon, his father being a dragon and his mother the demon. He was so powerful but he didn't know how to control his powers, and without even realizing it he killed his entire family, well not his real family his adoptive one. The truth was no one knew what happened to his parents but the rest of the eggs had been destroyed/eaten by hungry creatures including humans and other dragons. Would he ever learn the truth about himself? Only his parents knew and of course the elder. But where were his parents? Gort looked up to the demon, his sharp talons clawed at the earth as he tried to stand. He managed to stand up, his tears were all gone now, only anger was left. He didn't move closer to her instead he parted his kissers, opening his mug wide. He took a deep breath, but when he exhaled it was not carbon dioxide that he released. In his anger he was able to create a flame, that was sent out from his mouth in the direction of the demon. His emerald pools closed, he had no idea what was going on. The only reason why he opened his mouth was because there was something inside of him telling him...no forcing him to do so. The flames caught onto the trees all around him, smoke began to cover the surrounding area, moving up high in the sky which would alert outsiders of the fire. His mouth was still open, the fires continued to come out. It was only for about 45 seconds that his mouth had staid open and the fire absorbed everything in it's path, burning it to a crisp. When he closed his mouth his pools opened which delivered him a great shock. The entire area around his body was just ash and then there was the trees of the dense forest that were still on fire and burning to the ground quickly, some trees fell over and the fire spread quickly taking in more and more of the forest as it grew; power hungry. He knew not what happened to the demon that had been in front of him, but he hoped the worst for her. A sudden sharp pain came form his wing, it felt like it was burning. He turned to see the branch had caught on fire, he soon saw it turn to ash before his very eyes. The cut had been burned, which in turn cleaned it and closed it making it so he would no longer bleed out. His wing hurt greatly, he would end up with a scar there but he couldn't just stand here and do nothing he needed to get out before the smoke clogged his lungs. He looked around and then looked tot he skies. The smoke led high in the sky, much higher then he was able to fly and the smoke was everywhere. This was a very dangerous situation, not just because of the flames but the smoke. The smoke made it difficult to breath and if too much get breathed in it could be fatal. His head was hung low to the ground, keeping him somewhat away from the smoke, seeing as smoke never touched the bottom of the ground, it rose up high in the air but still it did hang low to the ground but not touching the earth itself not even when it was coming from the fire that was on the grass. And idea soon struck him, he could send the smoke away by flapping his wings. He stood up on his back legs, his wings began to beat rapidly, though he could feel great pain from his wounded wing he continued any way. From this he had only cleared a small path to the skies from where he stood. He was not sure what he was going to do but moving into the sky was too dangerous of a move so he decline his one and only chance to do so. What had he done? He was not sure and wasn't going to just stand here he needed to get out, he had to leave...He should of never attempted to go back to his village to see what remained. This was the very forest he had ran away in so many years ago... His head stayed down low as he questioned what he was to do.

Vixxy was impatiently waiting, but waiting anyways, for the dragons response. She started to fold her arms and tap her foot, he seemed to take forever. Well to her at least. It was a simple choice; choke on pride to live your life. But apparently he had other plans.
Vixen heard him say: brother. She thought he was calling for his family to help him, but it was just an idea.
'Well if he has family, then I believe I should take my leave. His family will be able to care for him... if they find him.'
She turned to leave the site, or at least to go kill something to take her mind off things. Most likely a thief that'll try to pick-pocket her on her way to... where ever her feet lead her.
She stopped feeling as though something important was going to happen. As the dragon charged at her back anger arose within her. The coward dared charge at her while her back was turned! Even if it was a failure attempt it was an attempt nonetheless.
Vixxy turned around growling softly. She glared at him bleeding form on the ground as her fur stood on ends becoming ruffled. Only to be accused of killing his brother.... Her soft growling turned into that of yelling at him. Vixxy became so upset she started yelling at him in her native tongue; which would seem as though she were barking menacingly at him, although he still understood her every word.
"How dare you! Accusing me of such vile a act; I've never killed a dragon! Neither have spilled the blood of one. Just because I may look like his murderer, or even may resemble their species; does NOT mean that I am the one who killed him! Maybe you killed him. But because you do not wish to accept it, does not mean you should kill random demons blaming them for another's actions! Besides... you are part demon as well. " she said the last part growling.
Vixxy watched as the dragon cried. She hoped he was coming to his senses, maybe even realizing something. She regained her composer and soothed her fur. Sadly it was short lived as it stood up, instincts guiding her. She quickly had icy wind circle around her, protecting her from any and all attacks, as well as send the flame into a different direction bouncing off her frozen wind barrier.
When the attack stopped the ice kitsune slowed her winds a bit. As soon as she did she almost regretted it; the sight of Hakori Forest trees aflame torn her heart. She loved the forest and she'd be d**ned if it went up in flames!
Her eyes widened with shock, but not a second later did she turn her head to glare at the dragon with hatred. "HOW DARE YOU!! YOU OVER-GROWN LIZARD!!!" As she got angrier the air around her got colder, making the flames smaller. Soon there was a small blizzard with the once lively burning forest. Most of the trees were burnt and now covered in a light blanket of snow.
Her hair blew in the wind as she cried in fury. She knew the dragon was young... thus she forgave him. Besides she met his parents once. They were nice people, looking for thier son. The forest wasn't burning now, and the smoke was still in the skies.
She sighed.... "Dragon, follow me if you wish to live. You're mother was kind to me once, so I shall repay the favor I owe... she looks... for you." she whispered, heading the the direction of the village ruins not to far.
